AI ruining accessibility tools

Now, why would they do this?
Money.
Money, money, money, money, money!
You see, companies don't care if users are disabled; that share of the market isn't significant enough to bother with. Sure they throw token 'accessibility features' in here and there so it looks like they're concerned, but that doesn't pay.
What does pay is dim-witted idiots who make lots of money and like to buy clever toys like speech-to-text/text-to-speech AI programs so they can walk around going "blah blah blah" and "read that back to me" without having to worry about being functionally illiterate. Hey, the goal here is to replace the human secretary so you don't have to pay them. Am I right? Not to make life easier for people who have a tough time doing things everyone else takes for granted.
And of course any old programs that did work ... well those have to go. Stop support, let them end-of-life out.
So if you happen to be, say, vision impaired and can't even find the bit to click for a bigger cursor because everything about the program is too damn small, well tough luck; you're not a significant part of market share so shut up and go away.
One day it will be these inconsiderate clods losing their jobs to the AI garbage tech they create, growing old, being poor, suffering vision and hearing loss, and moaning about how no one cares about them.
I believe it's called "poetic justice".
