So because I couldn't find a certain item locally I went, against my better judgement, looking for it on Bozo's Bad Bargain Bailiwick.
Holy hippopotamus Batman! That web site is so much worse than ever before!
I mean it was never any good, but they've managed to plumb new depths of digital awfulness. Maybe this was done by AI? "Make our web site so unbelievably terrible that it is completely useless for its stated purpose." I don't know, seems like a strange goal to me. Or maybe the AI simply generated garbage because that's what they do best.
What's the problem? They've crammed more product links than ever before into the limited page size, making it cluttered and slow-loading for no reason whatsoever. Wait, did someone go see "Everything Everywhere All At Once" by any chance? Was that title the inspiration for this mass of programming garbage? Or are they simply hopelessly stupid? Yeah, I'll bet that's it.
Of course the search engine still doesn't work worth a damn: anything you type in returns results connected to any keyword entered, plus many things that are in no way related other than being made of matter, existing in the physical universe, and being available from them. 'Cause you know if you look up "metric wrench set" what you're really after is a pair of ladies' slippers.
Should you linger on any item long enough to view the price you're in for another shock. I guess that's those "beautiful tariffs" at work destroying the world's economy. Stupid is as stupid does, as Forest Gump said.
Anyway I was so insulted by the attack on my senses and sensibilities that I moved the Azon Calling bookmark to the bottom of the list where it can sit and fester and rot until something in the world changes. That 'something' could well be me deleting the account entirely.
