Are search engines obtuse on purpose?
I've been trying to search for some specific information and yet it seems 'logical operators' no longer have any function in search engines. They all seem to return results based on any word in your enquiry, never allowing exclusions and certainly not taking the whole entry in context.
As such I'm speculating the idea is to make standard search engines so functionally useless as to force people into using data-harvesting AI garbage searches in order to train the LLM and of course glean as much personal information they can sell as possible.
Getting more than just a little sick of this "technology is your master" ideology.
