Why do I write this?

Bear-blinded

Hokay, I gotta me posts pulleda froma da discovery feed. Hoo-boy! Dat be tellin' me, for shore! I runna offa atta da moutha too mucho! Dis I know. You no gotta remind me! Hokay, maybe you do gotta remind me!

Seriously, though; some kind of clue like "don't post more than 3 entries a day" would have been good.

On the other hand I have been forced to step back and re-examine things, including my use of Bearblog.

WordPress was failing to meet my needs as it got ever-more bloated and stocked with uselessness. And always asking for money. My views fell off, and I gave up on it because of the low interaction. Not only for me, but other blogs I followed were falling off. Some went down to posting occasionally, others maintained their schedule, and even more simply vanished. For them too the effort wasn't worth the return.

So I switched. Not to just Bearblog, but to three different platforms so I could have things the way I wanted. It doesn't seem to have worked because that low interaction thing followed me. One site had no interaction of any kind on purpose. Hmm. Not great. What's the point of posting anything if you can't tell someone appreciates it? A second site had interaction, but there was little activity re myself. Frankly the tone of the whole thing was rather "this is where we go to whine" and although I do that (as well as rant) it's not the sum and total of me.

And then there's Bearblog. Several posts got some up indicators, many more did not, but it was nice to know that once in a while my efforts were not only seen but appreciated.

After this incident, however, I'm wondering A). what I actually hope to accomplish and B). what's the best way to do it.

Again.
