Why do I write this?

Ethics is dead and the Internet killed it.

While everyone else is posting about the US elections, I thought I'd mention a little thing I saw in the news yesterday:
https://www.nytimes.com/2026/11/03/us/google-search-schools-restrict-ai.html
"Google will turn off search for schools that reject AI."

Or "We are Google. Resistance is futile. You will comply."

And another funny thing I've noticed lately is the large number of 'suggested' videos on Yutztube that are "featured video" but are pure AI slop; faked up nonsense about 'dead' celebrities, 'free' land, and 'where are they now'. Things so obviously phoney that even an AI agent could tell they're bullshit. So much for YT 'clamping down' on that sort of thing, eh?

Both these items have the same moral: If it makes the company money, that's all that matters.
