Hover through the fog and filthy air
Wildfires.
Town is full of visitors: not tourists; refugees.
Air Quality ranges between "Unhealthy" and "Hazardous".
I can smell the smoke being pushed through the cracks of this old house.
Air purifier I ordered a week ago was supposed to be delivered yesterday. Nope; Maybe next week. Why? Probably because of the road closures.
Supposed to rain today, but with T-storms so it may light new fires instead of putting old ones out. Wind is fanning those very well, spreading them further.
Next week it is predicted to get hot again. Good for fires. Bad for putting them out.\
All we can do is hunker down and hope we don't face the same fate as the destroyed communities to our south. As it is, there's no place to flee to anymore.
