I need to be happy to write.
I was wondering why I didn't feel like working on my story today when I realised that I'd just dealt with some very negative aspects of the Internet which made me ... well, not sad or depressed but certainly unhappy.
And that's the thing; you can't write a funny, positive work of fiction when you've got the dystopian horror that is today's world on your mind.
