Well yes of course it is, because there is nothing factual to back up the claims of AI having any value to society at all. A whole lot of the proof being just around the next corner. Whereas the damage it does is already evident at every turn, and it clearly will only get worse.
And do you have any idea how much like a Nazi you sound with that "wrong side of history" bullshit? We all know the trash technology is here and it will overwhelm civilisation just like the Roman Empire did. Only it can be argued that the Romans did at least some good during the course of their reign.
The only real similarity is that like the Empire, AI will fail and fall.
