The "essential cookies" paradox
You've all seen it somewhere: go to a web site and the 'cookies' choice comes up. You can "accept all cookies" or "accept only essential cookies" or "reject all cookies".
Now if you pick the last choice, the site doesn't work or doesn't work correctly. If you pick the first choice your device gets loaded with cookies that do Satan-knows-what and probably sells your info to every immoral scammer on Earth. This leaves the only logical choice of "accept only essential cookies". That brings up the inevitable question:
Why the hell is there any other kind of cookie presented on the site?
Basically the company is admitting it's willing to not only prostitute itself, but to pimp you on to anyone with the right amount of money.
What do you think of anyone who would do that?
